RECONSTRUCTION AND MODIFIED USE OF HALL B100 SLAVIČÍN IN SLAVIČÍN
Hall B100 is a part of the well-known complex of halls of the Vlárské Machine-works in Slavičín. In the past the hall served mainly for the production of metal components for weaving and assembly machines. Now, however, more than ten years it had been unused. The reconstruction of the hall thus meant rebirth of the old past. However, with the new purpose of use: it will serve for the manufacturing of plastic doors and as a storage for the production.
Two annexes belong to the building, which serve for auxiliary production facilities and there are offices, restrooms and dressing rooms for the employees are located in there. The architecture of the hall reflect the nature of the industrial premises. We removed the existing installations during the reconstruction. Technical solutions also included the revision of the gas connection, the connection of the central heating, gas distribution, the wiring and air conditioning.
The reconstruction of the building included demolition works as well as the complete repair of the roof. The new roof combines the insulation system of self-extinguishing foam tiles with the insulation sheet, and thus becomes a safe solution for an industrial building of this type. A replacement of the existing windows with the new plastic profile windows with insulating double glazing also meant clear step towards greater energy savings. We also installed the insulated door in the storage area.
Revision of the floor consisted especially in removing the existing sadurit coating floor and in replacing it with new concrete flooring. The innovation touched also the siding of the building as well as the interior painting and tiling. In the reconstruction, an underground fire tank was built due to the lack of the water supply capacity. All the used materials were chosen with regards to technological and operational requirements of the building. The building now serves to all its employees as well as an adequate area for storing the products.
